A week of natural beauty, traditional culture, magical sunsets and nourishing yoga.
The Greek Island of Amorgos is where peace, quiet and beauty sweetly emerge into deep nourishment and rejuvenation. Amorgos is one of the most impressive Cycladic islands, boasting marvelous beaches with deep crystal blue waters, magical sunsets, breathtaking natural landscapes and ancient footpaths leading through mountain terrain. Amorgos is off the beaten track which has preserved its traditional culture. Amorgos is one of the most beautiful islands in the Aegean Sea, which lies perfectly between two sandy beaches and has spectacular views all around. The locals welcome you with a smile and make you feel at home.
You will experience a daily morning yoga practice followed by an open day to explore, relax, swim or receive spa treatments. We will meet in the evening for dinner.
YOGA CLASS DESCRIPTION
Each morning we will begin with a 2-hour yoga class. These classes will incorporate gentle and relaxing movements and stretches, mindfulness, breathing practices and self-reflection. These classes are meant to be deeply nourishing that will leave you feeling quiet, grounded and peaceful. The mindfulness portion of each class will focus on increasing concentration, quieting the mind and relating kindly to yourself. These classes are open to all levels of students; however, it is helpful to be able to put weight on your hands and knees.

- 7 nights of accommodation
- Transfers upon arrival and departure on Amorgos (port-hotel-port)
- 10% discount on Face and Body treatments at Lalon Idor Spa
- All rooms with a sea view and balcony
- Luxury bedding & linens (Guy Laroche)
- Breakfast and dinner for all meals. (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free options are provided upon request)
- Use of Spa facilities (sauna, jacuzzi, indoor heated seawater swimming pool and fitness center)
TRAVEL
- Arrive by the evening of October 20th or before in Athens.
- You will travel by ferry to Katapola port on Oct. 21st and leave from Katapola on the 28th. You can purchase your ferry ticket here. Ferry tickets aren’t available until late spring.
- You will want to depart from Athens in the evening of Oct. 28th or the following day.
- Non stop flights seems to vary; meaning that they aren’t offered everyday.
- We recommend purchasing travel insurance. Purchasing travel insurance.

EXCURSIONS
There are a variety of excursions that we will all arrange before arriving in Greece. Aegialis will help organize some on arrival but large group activities must be arranged before arrival Prices vary depending on the excursions and size of the group and will be organized by the center upon arrival. Carly will be in touch to schedule your activities for free time closer to the retreat date.
POLICIES
A $600 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your space. Refunds are not given unless the space can be filled by another registration. A $250 administrative fee will be deducted if the room can be filled.
Once final payment is made we cannot offer refunds unless the room is filled, minus deposit.
We cannot compensate for unforeseen circumstances (injury, family emergency, inclement weather, pandemics, etc.) since we have costs already incurred when reserving the retreat center. To be safe, we highly recommend travel insurance (purchasing travel insurance). We do not offer refunds for weather delays or other last minute situations.
If the retreat needs to be cancelled for unforeseen circumstances such as a natural disaster or pandemic, the retreat will be postponed until another time.

MEAL & YOGA PRACTICE DETAILS
- Enjoy delicious fresh food at award-winning Ambrosia Gallery Restaurant. They use fresh food and locally grown vegetables and a variety of spices grown on the island.
- A light pre-practice snack with coffee and tea followed by a morning yoga practice.
- Two hour yoga class; delicious breakfast buffet following morning yoga.
- Free time to do as you wish. You can do a daily excursion, book a spa treatment or rest by the pool. Go at your pace and do what you enjoy.
- Ala carte snack and lunch can be purchased and added to your room change if you are on site and not exploring during your daily free time.
- Alcohol is available and will be extra and added to your room bill or paid with cash throughout the week.
- Delicious Dinner.
- Vegetarian, vegan, gluten- free available when requested. We will collect dietary restriction before you depart for the trip.
NOT INCLUDED in the retreat:
Airfare to and from Greece; travel insurance, tips, lunch, additional /excursions activities or spa treatments that will be planned closer to retreat

A Little Bit About Me
I have been teaching yoga and meditation since 2002. I offer a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere where people can nurture their body, calm their mind and connect with their heart.
My teaching philosophy invites students to slow down, breathe consciously, develop awareness and cultivate an inner friendliness. My classes incorporate gentle and relaxing movements and stretches, mindfulness, breathing practices and self-reflection. I weave yoga, mindfulness and therapeutic philosophies into my classes that can integrate easily into daily life that help make being human a little bit easier.
